GDS’s mission is to empower the marginalized communities living in the areas of structural poverty in India, through the economic pathway, that is, through promoting and strengthening the livelihoods of its targeted communities. Our agriculture development approach focuses on empowering farmers to optimize profits while ensuring sustainable agricultural practices. We achieve this by providing knowledge, mobilizing farmers into collectives, and facilitating collective marketing of their produce.
